How do I get started?
Get ShipKith, create your account and confirm your email. If you want to send something, search for trips or post your package first. If you want to carry a package, complete identity verification and publish your trip. Activity is where you will find your packages, trips and Bookings afterward.
Do I need to post a package before requesting space?
Yes. You can browse trips first, but a request needs a posted package. Choose a suitable package you have already posted or post one for the trip. Include the contents, weight, route and receiver details so the traveller can review what you are asking them to carry.
What can I send?
The contents must fit the traveller’s accepted items and comply with the restrictions that apply to the journey. Describe everything in the package and check the restrictions in the app before requesting space. Also check airline and customs rules for your destination; a traveller’s acceptance does not replace those requirements.
Does sending a request confirm my Booking?
No. A request is a proposal. The other person needs to respond, and the proposed fee may change. Agree the fee and pickup details, then follow the payment step in the Booking. The app shows what is still needed before the package can be handed over.
How is the price agreed?
The Sender and traveller agree the fee through the request process. A proposed fee can receive a counter-proposal. Before paying, the Sender sees the total, including the service fee. Use the amount shown for your own Booking rather than treating an example route or price as a fixed rate.
When do I pay?
The Sender pays in the app after the fee and pickup details are agreed, before pickup. For a package carried by a traveller, payment is held until receipt is confirmed. Check the payment status in the Booking; an accepted request is not the same as a completed payment.
Who needs to verify their identity?
Travellers need identity verification before publishing a trip. Posting a package requires email confirmation; it does not mean every Sender has completed ID verification. When choosing a traveller, review the verification information and any reviews on their profile alongside the details of the trip.
How do I know the package has arrived?
The traveller records delivery with a photo. The Sender should check with the receiver before confirming receipt in the Booking. Photos, confirmations and next actions stay with that Booking. These updates are recorded through the app; they are not a live GPS location of the package.
What if something is wrong with the handover or delivery?
Open the Booking and use its problem-reporting action. Check the confirmation period shown there and report the issue before automatic confirmation. Reporting a delivery problem pauses automatic confirmation and the traveller’s payment. Keep the relevant photos, messages and Booking details available if you contact support.
How do I receive my earnings?
After the traveller records delivery, receipt confirmation starts payment release. Wallet shows earnings, availability and payout setup. Available payout options depend on your account and country. Follow the instructions and status shown there; delivery, payment release and a payout reaching your account are separate events.
