Dropper

For Droppers

Updated April 25, 2026

A Drop is your delivery request. The clearer it is, the faster it matches.

Write a good Drop description

  • List what's inside with rough quantity and weight. Carriers need to plan luggage.
  • Be specific about the destination — neighbourhood and a recipient phone number speed handoff.
  • Set a realistic budget — ShipKith suggests a range based on the route and weight.
  • Disclose anything fragile, electronic, or food — Carriers need to know to pack right.

What you can't ship

The following are blocked at intake and will trigger an automatic refund if a Hub finds them:

  • Counterfeit goods, ivory, untaxed currency.
  • Prescription drugs without an accompanying prescription.
  • Loose lithium batteries (must be inside a device).
  • Anything sealed or refusing inspection — Hubs photograph and verify each parcel.

Paying

You only pay once a Carrier accepts. Funds are held by ShipKith and released to the Carrier after delivery confirmation. If something goes wrong before pickup, you're automatically refunded.

Choosing the right Carrier

Look beyond the lowest price. Check:

  • Standing (Kith → Pillar) — higher standing means more completed trips.
  • Verification ticks — at minimum government ID for high-value drops.
  • Community membership — shared communities make handoffs much smoother.
  • Recent reviews — read 2-3 to get a feel for the person.
