A Trip is your itinerary. Posting one tells ShipKith you have spare luggage and unlocks matches headed your way.
Post a great Trip
- Exact dates and airports matter — close-but-not-exact dates won't match.
- Available capacity in kg — be honest. Overloading is the most common dispute reason.
- What you won't carry — it's fine to refuse food, electronics, or fragile items upfront.
- Direct vs. Hub preference — if you'd rather not meet strangers in person, prefer Hub handoffs.
Accepting a match
You'll see proposed matches that fit your route. Each one shows the Drop's contents, the Dropper's standing, and the offered fee. You can:
- Accept as-is.
- Counter with a different price or terms.
- Decline without affecting your standing.
Once accepted, the Dropper has 24 hours to pay. If they don't, the match auto-cancels.
At pickup
If you're meeting directly, weigh and inspect the parcel before leaving. If you're picking up from a Hub, the Hub has already inspected and photographed it — your job is just to confirm the QR code on the app and take possession.
Getting paid
Funds release automatically once delivery is confirmed at destination. ShipKith takes a small platform fee that decreases as your standing rises (up to 0% for Pillars). Payouts to your linked account happen weekly.
