Start with your account

Get ShipKith and create an account. Confirm your email and complete the information requested in the app. If you plan to carry packages, you will also need to verify your identity before publishing a trip.

Keep your contact details current so the people involved in your Booking can coordinate with you. Identity verification is a requirement for publishing a trip; it does not mean every account on ShipKith has been ID verified.

Have something to send?

In Search, choose the departure and destination countries to explore trips on your route. Open a trip to review its dates, the space offered and the traveller’s profile.

To send a package with a traveller, post your package or choose one you have already posted, then request space. You can also post your package first and look for a traveller afterward. A request starts a conversation; it is not an instant booking.

Already planning a trip?

Verify your identity, then publish your route, dates, available space, rate and flight details. Explain where you can collect and deliver packages, and which items you accept.

You can respond to requests on your trip or offer to carry a package that fits it. Review the contents and arrangements before agreeing to carry anything.

Know where to go next

The app brings the work around a trip or package into a few familiar places. Open the relevant item in Activity whenever you need to check its status or next action.

  • Search: explore trips and packages on a route.
  • Activity: find your posted packages, trips, requests and Bookings.
  • Chat: discuss the fee and handover arrangements.
  • Profile: find your account information and settings.

Agree before the handover

Agree the fee and pickup details together. The Sender reviews the total, including the service fee, and pays in the app before pickup.

Your Booking then guides the photos and confirmations. The traveller records pickup and delivery, and the Sender checks the handover and receipt. Follow the step shown in the Booking rather than assuming that sending a request or uploading a photo has completed the whole process.
